VIDEO: Shaletta Porterfield – Miss Wisconsin USA 2011

An excerpt from the last speech made by Wisconsin's beloved, Vince Lombardi:

"I believe that man's greatest hour, in fact -- his greatest fulfillment, his finest fulfillment, is that moment when he has worked his heart out for a good cause and lies exhausted but victorious on the field of battle -- whenever -- wherever that field of battle may be -- in your business, in my business, wherever.

Success in life is a matter not so much of talent and not so much of opportunity but rather of concentration and perseverance. The man who succeeds above his fellow man is the man who early in life clearly decides his objective and towards that objective he directs all of his powers."

As the head coach of Wisconsin's storied football franchise, the Green Bay Packers, Lombardi led his team to multiple championships in the 1960's. Forty years after his passing, his team's winning tradition continued with the Packers successfully battling for the title of Super Bowl XLV Champions (Go Cowboys in 2012! lol).

VIDEO: Morgan Woolard on “Personal Growth and Lessons Learned Competing in Pageants”

I am excited to welcome back thePageantGuy.com's guest blogger and Miss Oklahoma USA 2010, Morgan Woolard. Based on her own experience competing in pageants, Morgan will continue to offer her personal insight in a video series addressing pageantry's tough issues.

As a titleholder, your year can take you along a journey of life changing experiences --  the best experiences of your life, but on the contrary may be challenging. So throughout this roller coaster ride, what have you learned about yourself?

Morgan Woolard is Miss Oklahoma USA 2010 and 1st runner-up to Miss USA 2010.  Morgan also held the title of Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2006 and placed in the Top 15 at the Miss Teen USA 2006 pageant. During this year's Miss America Pageant, Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2011, Lacey Russ took some time to get to know a few of the National Princesses during the unveiling of Sherri Hill's new Kid's Collection for 2011.  Be sure to watch the video below to see Lacey interview some of the National Princesses -- and possibly a future Miss America's Outstanding Teen state titleholder!

A series of events with Harvard's most fashionable Juris Doctor:

"Elle: ...and that's why you should vote for me. Elle Woods: future lawyer for the class of 2004.
Admissions Guy: She does have a 4.0 from CULA and she got a 179 on LSATs.
Head of Admissions: Fashion major?
Admissions Guy: Well sir we've never had one before and aren't we always looking for diversity?
Admissions Guy: Her list of extra-curricular activities is impressive.
Head of Admissions: She was in a Ricky Martin video.
Admissions Guy: Clearly, she's interested in music.
Head of Admissions: She also designed a line of faux-fur panties for her sorority's charity project.
Admissions Guy: Uh huh, she's a friend to the animals as well as a philanthropist.
Head of Admissions: Elle Woods...Welcome to Harvard."
