VIDEO: Ivana Hall – Miss Texas 2013

Twenty-three year old Ivana Hall from Cedar Hill, TX, along with over 50 of the country's finest young ladies will compete for the title of Miss America 2014 on Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Atlantic City, New Jersey live on ABC.

Before Ivana left for Atlantic City, she made some time to visit with me for a quick interview and the opportunity for everyone to get to know a little more about Miss Texas 2013!

VIDEO: Ali Nugent – Miss Texas USA 2013

Alexandria Nichole "Ali" Nugent became a titleholder when she was only 18 months old, when her mom entered her into her first just-for-fun pageant. It was there that she won the title of “Miss Gingerbread.”

Ali is currently a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, and is currently majoring in Marketing/Entrepreneurship at Collin College in Frisco. Her hobbies include spending time with her large family, including 15 aunts, 15 uncles, and 43 cousins.

She also loves traveling, soccer, hockey, basketball, tennis, volleyball, cheerleading and figure skating. She has modeled extensively and worked with a variety of charities including Best Buddies, Kids Matter International, Clothe the Child and Terra Biotech's One-2-One. (Bio courtesy of the Miss Universe Organization)

VIDEO: Shannon McAnally – Miss Virginia USA 2013

Shannon McAnally is a 2009 graduate of the University of North Texas with a BBA in Marketing. She is a 24-year-old licensed general contractor with her family's commercial construction company, MCC and Associates, Inc., and serves as the Marketing Director and a co owner.

Shannon has a strong passion for music, the arts, and enjoys working with various non-profit organizations including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the American Heart Association.

She loves spending time with family and friends, keeps up with current music, visiting museums, traveling, and managing her personal web site she designed and created herself.Shannon has been competing in pageants for ten years, with MISS VIRGINIA USA as her 18th competition.

VIDEO: Makenzie Muse – Miss Oklahoma USA 2013

Makenzie Muse graduated from Yukon High School and now live in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she is a junior at Oklahoma State University. She majors in elementary education, hoping to be a positive impact on children some day.

Miss Oklahoma USA was Mackenzie’s first and only pageant. With only two months under her belt as a titleholder, she has accomplished a lot. Her achievements include volunteering at the Special Olympics dance and making numerous appearances at schools and after school programs.

VIDEO: Mary Margaret McCord – Miss Alabama USA 2013

Mary Margaret McCord attended the University of Alabama where she majored in Public Relations with a double minor in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship.

She is currently in graduate school at the University of Alabama where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing.

Mary Margaret is the youngest of three children. She has an older brother, Roy McCord, and an older sister, Catherine McCord Bailey.  Her hobbies include reading, traveling, modeling, and volunteering. (Bio courtesy of the Miss Universe Organization)

VIDEO: Ashley Mills – Miss North Carolina USA 2013

Ashley Love-Mills of Raleigh, is a 2010 graduate of North Carolina State University and received a BA in Media Communications as well as a minor in TV/Film Production. She works full time in the Southeast market as model and actress.

Being a victim of bullying herself, Ashley is most passionate about being a spokesperson for Peaceful Schools-NC, a local anti-bullying program founded by the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation.

Earlier this year she conducted a series of self-esteem workshops for young girls and plans to continue to do so throughout her year of reign. (Bio courtesy of the Miss Universe Organization)
