VIDEO: Sydnee Stottlemyre – Miss Missouri USA 2016

Sydnee Stottlemyre, 22, grew up in Chesterfield, MO. A natural athlete, Sydnee played basketball and ran track & field in high school. She is a senior at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she majors in Strategic Communication.

She has experience reporting for KBIA FM and KOMU 8, the NPR and NBC affiliates in Columbia, Missouri. Following graduation, she plans to attend law school and specialize in Constitutional Law. When she is not working or studying, Sydnee loves to read. She has always deeply enjoyed science fiction novels and movies. Sydnee loves animals, especially dogs (the smaller, the better)!

She is the former international spokesperson for the Research Center for Human-Animal Interaction at the University of Missouri-Columbia, a role she used to advocate for animal therapy. Sydnee is excited to fulfill her lifelong dream of competing for Miss USA!

VIDEO: Victoria Wiggins – Miss Kansas USA 2016

Victoria Wiggins is daughter of an Army Master Sergeant, Jeffrey Wiggins and a nurse Ellaleilani Wiggins who taught her discipline and being sympathetic and aligning herself with many charities that include Warriors For Ross, Dads Care 2, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

She is a strong advocate for positive self-esteem and perseverance when going after your goals. She graduated from Lindenwood University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and has plans to own her own boutique.

Victoria currently works as a fashion merchandiser and has viewed fashion shows from the audience and the stage, where she has been a runway model for 10 years. Victoria stays fit by running, a long standing passion of hers.

Victoria is a sucker for animals, rescuing birds, turtles, cats and dogs. These days Victoria is a “mommy” to two turtles, a cat, and a Chihuahua named Sarge.

VIDEO: Emelina Adams – Miss Nevada USA 2016

This past weekend I had the opportunity to watch the beautiful ladies of Nevada compete for the coveted title of Miss Nevada USA 2016.

Winning this year’s Miss Nevada USA 2016 crown is Emelina Adams (Henderson). Emelina will compete alongside 50 other young ladies from across the country for the title of Miss USA 2016.

VIDEO: Carissa Morrow – Miss Nevada Teen USA 2016

This past weekend I had the opportunity to watch the beautiful ladies of Nevada compete for the coveted title of Miss Nevada Teen USA 2016.

VIDEO: Victoria Mendoza – Miss America World 2015

"My country represents and values freedom and diversity. My home state of Arizona has the most beautiful sunsets and is home to one of the natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon.”

Victoria is a third year Broadcast Journalism & Mass Communication student. Born in El Paso, Texas, she grew up in Phoenix, where she currently studies at the Arizona State University.

A competitive dancer for 8 years, Victoria loves ballet, jazz and hip hop, and she also taught herself to play the piano. In her spare time she likes nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.

VIDEO: Peyton Brown – Miss Alabama USA 2016

A native of Eufaula, Peyton Brown is currently a senior in Communication Studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She is active in her church, her school and her community and tries to give back in as many ways as possible.

She is particularly passionate about educating people, especially young women, on the importance of protecting their skin. Her commitment to this cause comes from losing her father to melanoma skin cancer in 2000. She would like to use her year as Miss Alabama USA to encourage others to understand what it takes to have healthy, beautiful skin and the dangers of over-exposure from the sun and tanning beds.  Peyton is involved with the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. She also spends time volunteering with the local Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama and the Make A Wish Foundation.

At the University of Alabama, Peyton juggles academics with helping out at local events and charities through her sorority and attending Church of the Highlands.  She loves being outdoors and enjoys water sports, riding horses and staying active. She still considers herself a bit of a homebody and loves cooking and baking, and spending time at home with her family.
