VIDEO: Miss Texas USA 2012 Pageant

This weekend in Houston, TX will witness 123 contestants from across the Lone Star state compete for the title of Miss Texas USA 2012.  Ana Rodriguez, 3rd runner up at Miss USA 2011, will be crowning the next young lady to represent the TEXAS in the Miss USA 2012 pageant next summer.

Below are two interviews from Top 15 finalists at last years Miss Texas USA pageant, the current Miss Dallas USA 2011 - Shannon McAnally and Miss Fort Worth USA 2011 - Christina Entsminger.

VIDEO: Miss Universe 2011 Delegate Shout Out

The Miss Universe 2011 pageant is less than 3 weeks away being held on September 12, 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil!

This year's marks the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant and will have a record 89 contestants competing this year.  I was surprised by a nice little shout out -- see below 🙂 -- from a few of the Miss Universe 2011 delegates attending La Casa Hermosa's Press Conference in Miami, FL.

Remember you can still VOTE for your favorite Miss Universe contestant as a semi-finalist and also be sure to check out "The Most Beautiful Gowns in the House" at La Casa Hermosa!

VIDEO: Anastasia Sidiropoulou – Miss Teen World 2011

From the Miss Teen World website:

"Anastasia Sidiropoulou was crowned 2011 Teen World in Houston, Texas On Friday August 13, 2010. Anastasia bested 24 ladies from all over the world for the bragging rights of calling herself the most beautiful teenager in the world!

Anastasia hails from Athens Greece. She is the Daughter of Dr. & Dr. Nikos Sidiropoulou. Both her parents are dentists. Anastasia is attending school in Slovakia to go to dental school. In the meantime she plans on pursuing her modeling and acting career while she is Teen World.

Anastasia is honored to be the first from Greece to capture the title of Teen World. She plans on using her title to do charity work all over the world. Anastasia plans on attending as many national pageants as her schedule permits."

I had the opportunity to interview her via Skype while she was in dental school in Yugoslavia a few months ago, but this evening you can watch her crown the new Miss Teen World 2012 TONIGHT -- Friday, August 5th at 7:00 pm -- in Houston at the Hilton Post Oak. Good luck to all of the 26 young ladies competing for the titleholder Miss Teen World 2012!

VIDEO: Ana Rodriguez – Miss Texas USA 2011

Words to live by from Miss Texas USA 2011, Ana Rodriguez, as she competed at the Miss USA 2011 pageant last month. Placing 3rd runner up to Miss USA 2011, Ana was a fan favorite amongst the viewers at home, the live audience, and her fellow contestants. Once you see the interview below -- taken just before competing at Miss USA 2011 -- you'll understand why.

VIDEO: Kia Hampton – Miss Kentucky USA 2011

Several weeks ago, at the Miss USA 2011 pageant, I had the opportunity to interview Miss Kentucky USA 2011 - Kia Hampton. Kia, Miss USA 2011's Miss Congeniality winner, showed why she earned the honor by spontaneously busting out a rap during our interview - a first for thePageantGuy.com 🙂

VIDEO: Annilie Hastey – Miss Florida Teen USA 2007

This weekend's Miss Florida USA 2012 pageant kicks off the first of the state preliminary pageants for the Miss USA 2012 season. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to interview a former Miss Florida Teen USA, Annilie Hastey in Las Vegas at during the Miss USA 2011 pageant.

Be sure to watch Annilie along with 60+ contestants as they compete for the Miss Florida USA 2012 crown.  If you are in Florida, be sure to check the pageant in person this weekend at the Bailey Concert Hall in Davie, FL or you can watch the pageant's live webcast online.  Broadcast details are listed here.
